Chateau Léoville Poyferré 2011 (4.5/5)

Very deep black/purple with good legs.

On the nose it's clean, offering pronounced notes of blackcurrant and cassis, cedar and spices. A gravelly and austere mineral character well counterbalances the considerable fruit extract.

On the palate is dry, with very refreshing acidity, medium+ tannins, medium alcohol, medium+ body with excellent flavor intensity and med+ finish. Everything is in place for a great future, although the wine starts to be very enjoyable now.

Very Good quality, Approachable now but better to wait few years and will last not less the 2 decades, Premium Price. 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot 6% Cabernet Franc. Saint Julien, Bordeaux, France.

One of the best wines of the vintage and kinda of well priced (relative to the mad context of Bordeaux prices).
