R. López de Heredia Rioja Reserva Viña Bosconia 2004 (4.3/5)

It appears deep ruby garnet with good tears. On the nose it's clean offering, with med+ intensity, developed notes of leather, dried orange rind, cherries, haematic/iron mineral, hints of Brett/volatile. On the palate is dry, with med+ acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium+ body with good concentration. Medium+ finish.  Not the perfect beauty but charming personality!
Very good quality, Drink Now but should deliver pleasure for a decade or so. Premium Price. 80% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha and 5% Mazuelo/Graciano,  Rioja (Alta), Spain.
