Quinta Dos Roques Tinto 2012 (4.4/5)

It appears medium ruby, with good legs.

On the nose it's clean offering, with medium intensity, notes of  sweet red fruits, Mediterranean herbs, earthy and lactic hints, some cedar and liquorice and a mineral vein. It's shier and more delicate than 2011 vintage and I would define it much more Burgundian in style.

On the palate it's dry, with med+ acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium+  body. Good concentration and freshness on the mid-palate. Med+ finish. Subtle and delicious!

Very Good quality, again an over-achiever for the price. Drink Now but will keep for several years. Blend of Touriga Nacional-Jaen-Alfrocheiro, DAO, Portugal.
