Bodegas Volver Tarima Monastrell 2014 (3.7/5)

It appears deep ruby with purple core and very good legs.

On the nose it's clean offering, with med intensity, notes of chestnut wood, some stalky notes and red/black fruits liqueur. Few notes of coffee and caramel. There is a good amount of make-up from oak alternatives here, yet the Monastrell integrity is quite preserved.

On the palate is dry, with medium acidity, med tannins giving a very creamy texture, med+ alcohol, med+ body and a med+ finish. Modern fruit-forward and unctuous effort. This will please many, especially considering the unbelievable low price.

Very Good quality, Drink Now or in the next few years, 100% Monastrell, Jumilla, Spain.
