Sola' 2 Classic 2011 (3.9/5)

It appears med+ ruby purple with good tears. On the nose it's clean, med+ intensity, red cherries, plums, balsamic notes from old wood and some garrigue hints. Shy mineral notes of iron and slates.

On the palate is dry, with med+ acidity, the wine is quite smooth and balanced, med+ alcohol, medium+ body with good concentration of flavors. Med to Med+ finish.

Very Good quality, Drink Now or in the next few years. A honest and engaging entry-level Priorat for less than £10: quite a bargain I would say. Blend of 45% Garnacha, 55% Carinena, Bellmunt del Priorat,  Priorat, Spain.
