Vine Hill Ranch 'VHR' Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 (4.8/5)

Notes:
It appears opaque black purple with very good legs. On the nose it's clean offering generous notes of black and blue fruits, violets, dusty chocolate, cedar and tobacco, minerals (proposed again on the savoury palate), hints of blackcurrant leaves.
On the palate is dry, with good balanced acidity, serious but wonderfully knitted tannic structure, med+ alcohol, full body with exceptional concentration on the mid palate and very long finish. A great vintage and one of the best cabernets coming from the valley.
Outstanding quality, Approachable now but will improve and keep for two decades. Premium Price. Cabernet Sauvignon, Oakville, Napa Valley, USA.
