It appears medium ruby, with good legs.
On the nose it's clean offering, with med+ intensity, a moving, layered, evolving succession of red cherries, fresh violets, menthol, earth and sweet tobacco, creamy vanilla (like coming from malolactic not from oak), savoury hints dried/roasted vine tomatoes, mineral notes of the best sangiovese.
On the palate is dry, with med+ acidity, silky tannins wonderfully structured and supporting this pure and ethereal wine, medium alcohol, med+ body, great flavor intensity combined with such elegance, This remains a benchmark for sangiovese in purezza, and one of the best wines produced on our planet. Med+ finish.
Outstanding quality. It is approachable Now but will keep evolving for a decade and more. Premium Price, 100% Sangiovese (locally Sangioveto), Radda in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy.
