L'Aventure "Estate Cuvée" 2012 (4.2/5)

Notes: It deep purple with terrific levels of dry extract (I have not a lab but your glass will remain stained with thick drop of wine if you leave it unwashed overnight), very good legs. On the nose it's clean with pronounced notes of black/blue fruit compote jumping out of the glass, oak extremely pronounced gets better on day 2 (tobacco, sweet spices and cedar), violets camphor and charcoals, liquorice and tar (especially on the palate).

On the palate is dry, with med- acidity, medium and velvety tannins, high alcohol alcohol (>16%), full body, with succulent mid palate but not very long finish.
Very Good quality, It can be drunk now but definitely will be better in few years, Premium Price, 57% Syrah, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot,  Paso Robles, California, USA.
