Herdade da Malhadinha Nova, Monte de Peceguina 2011 (4.2/5)

This is is the second wine from Maladinha Nova. Produced in a modern style, yet with good expression of Alentejano Terroir.

Notes: It appears deep red purple, with very good legs. On the nose it's clean offering med+ notes of mulberries, hedgerow fruits, mediterranean herbs, subtle oak notes. On the palate is dry, with med+ acidity, medium tannins, med+ alcohol, medium+ to full body. Good concentration and vibrant fruit on the mid palate. Medium finish.
Very Good quality, Drink Now but will keep for several years, High Price. Blend of 35%Aragonez, 17%Touriga Nacional, 16%Alicante Bouchet, 15%Syrah, 10%Cab. Sauvignon, 5% Trincadeira, 2%Tinta Miuda, Alentejo, Portugal.
