Concha y Toro Terrunyo 'Block 27' Carmenere 2011 (4.4/5)

It appears deep ruby red with good legs. On the nose it's clean offering, with pronounced intensity, ripe and fragrant notes brambles and raspberry with such a could guess this is Chilean meters away from the glass; violets, mineral graphite, white chocolate and cedar.

On the palate is dry, with balanced med+ acidity, medium (velvety) tannins, med+ alcohol, medium+ body with very good concentration and succulent fruit on mid palate, just a hint of stalky note on the finish. Med+ Persistence.

Very Good quality, Drink Now but will keep and evolve for a at least 5 years, Premium Price. Carmenere, Peumo, Valle del Cachapoal, Chile.
