Chateau Musar 2002 (4.5/5)

Notes:

It appears medium+ garnet with evolved rim and very good legs. On the nose it's clean offering, with med+ intensity, notes of dusty cherries, stewed plums, figs, tobacco, cocoa and loamy soil, mineral notes of iron, dried herbs. Hints of leather and barnyard add complexity and savouriness and balance the sweet components of the aromatic spectrum. Very alluring.

On the palate is dry, with med+ acidity, medium (mellowed) tannins, med+ alcohol, med+ body with good concentration on the mid palate and Med+ finish. Very fresh and elegant in style.

Outstanding quality, Drink Now (it's probably at its peak) but will still keep going for several years. Premium Price, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Cinsault, Bekaa Valley, Lebanon.
