Notes: It appears medium ruby, with garnet rim and good legs. On the nose it's clean offering, with medium intensity, notes of red fruits (cherries, currants), some blackberries, cocoa powder, tobacco, dried herbs and mineral haematic tones.
On the palate is dry, showing medium+ acidity, medium lingering tannins, medium alcohol, medium body. Good flavour intensity, although there is not great definition of fruit and the finish is not the most persistent. Quite a tough vintage, but the wine preserves its identity and finesse.
Very Good quality, Drink now or in the next few years, High Price. Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra, South Australia.
