Moulin Touchais Coteaux du Layon 1975 (4.6/5)
Notes: It appears medium gold with shades of copper, good legs. On the nose it's clean (just a hint of gentle oxidation) offering a plethora of fully developed autumnal scents (damp earth, leaves, chestnuts, hazelnuts, musk), very old tea leaves, quince, salted caramel, strawberry sauce, ripe peaches, bitter orange, beeswax. On the palate is medium sweet, svelte and not so opulent, with med/med+ acidity, medium alcohol, med+ body, med+ flavor intensity, and med+ length. Amazing complexity sip after sip.
