Lake Breeze Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet 2009 (4.6/5)

Notes: Deep ruby garnet with very good legs. The nose is clean offering med+ intense notes of dark fruits, cedar, mint and eucalyptus, chocolate shaves and toasted coffee,  hints of lapsang smoky tea . On the palate is dry, with medium acidity, medium+ fine grained supple tannins, medium+ alcohol, med+ to full body, with chewy mid palate and med+ finish. Very nice complexity. Graciously hedonistic, yet a serious example of how great the combination of Shiraz and Cabernet can be in South Australia.
Very Good to Outstanding quality, Drink Now but will improve for few years and keep for 10 years, Premium Price. 60% Shiraz, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, Langhorne Creek, South Australia.
