Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge 2006 (4.3/5)

Notes: It appears deep purple with good legs. Amazing color or the age, still looking like a baby. On the nose it's clean and a bit closed with med- intensity of of blackberries and currants, violets, pepper vanilla, cedar and tobacco leaves. On the palate is dry, with medium+ acidity, med+ tannins, medium alcohol, med+ body and med+ flavor intensity- definitely more expressive on the palate than on the nose. It's a wine for gentlemen (imagine a Leoville Barton from South) and like that needs time time time to fully develop.
Very Good quality, It needs time but will keep and give plesure for 20+ years, Premium Price, 80% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% other rare varieties,  Languedoc-Roussillon, France.
