Vigno by Gillmore 2011 (4.6/5)

Notes: It appears deep ruby red with good legs. On the nose it's clean offering med+ intensity of blackberries brambles and raspberry with the fresh vibrancy that usually only Chile can give. White pepper, vanilla and violets, cocoa powder and cedar notes developing but still very primary. On the palate is dry, with balanced med+ acidity, med+ tannins, med+ alcohol, medium+ body with very good concentration and grip on the mid palate. Med+ to long finish. Excellent tannic structure supporting the fruit in such a balance that I rarely encounter with Carignan-based wines. Bravo! Very Good quality, Drink Now but will keep and evolve for a decade, High Price. Cerignan (old vines), Lancomilla Valley, Maule, Chile.
