Notes: It appears opaque purple nearly black, with good legs. On the nose it's clean offering, with med- intensity, notes of ripe black cherries and plums, little violets and dark chocolate (honestly missed was a syrah). On the palate is dry, with med/med+ acidity, med+ alcohol, medium+ to full body with a bold juiciness and smooth/plush/velvety mid palate that reminds me the Montepulciano Tenuta Ulisse Nativae (tasted some time ago on my blog). Those concrete eggs used to mature the wine may really do the trick in smoothing out and thickening (chaining) the tannins. Med+ finish.
Very Good quality, Drink Now but will keep and possibly improve up to a decade, High Price. Syrah, Minervois (La Liverniere), France.
