Etienne Guigal Côte-Rôtie "Brune & Blonde de Guigal" 2008 (3.8/5)
Notes: It appears deep garnet with good legs. On the nose it's clean offering med+ intensity of mocha and spices with red berries and some hint of blueberry, some green leaves, some floral notes probably from viognier. Barrique seems to prevail on fruit anyway. On the palate is dry, with smooth medium+ tannins, med+ to high acidity, med alcohol, medium+ body. Med+ finish.
Good quality, Will improve in the next 10+ years, never however at the point to justify its Premium Price. 96% Syrah, 4% Viognier, Cote Rotie, Rhone Valley, France.
