Notes: It appears unbelievably deep gold with high viscosity. Easily mistakable for a good Tokaji or TBA. On the nose it's clean offering intense orange marmalade (botrytis notes) mango and apricots, floral notes of honeysuckle and spices together with fermented leaves (oolong tea). Good layers. On the palate is sweet (nicely sweet not cloying), with balanced acidity, medium alcohol, medium+ body with very good concentration in the palate recalling the nose. Med+ finish (was expecting longer).
Outstanding  quality, Drink Now or hold 10+y, Premium Price. Chardonnay, Ventura County, California, USA.

This will be the last vintage produced by the Kracher-Krankl duet. Very sad is indeed the premature death of the brilliant Austrian winemaker Alois Kracher. Cheers, in memory of a real Noble Man!
