Notes: It appears medium to deep garnet with broken-watery tears. On the nose it's clean with the oak notes dominating the entrance (cedar wood, coconut, almond, vanilla) followed by a core of plums and blackberries and some floral (violets) notes. Needs time but shows some elegance. On the palate is dry, with medium+ acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body with good flavor intensity, although could gain some weight on the mid palate. Medium+ finish.
Very Good quality, Better to wait couple of years, anyway the good acidity and the tannic structure will make survive 10+ years, Premium Price. Merlot, Cab Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot. Hawke's Bay, Gimblett Gravels, New Zealand.
