Notes: It appears deep ruby with a purple core and good legs. On the nose it's clean offering medium+ intensity of black cherries/ blackberries and cassis, plums, iron and mineral notes, spices and tobacco from the well integrated wood. Very good integrity from Merlot body with some lift from Cab Franc. Minty herbal notes on the end. Overall very good example from (Lalande) Pomerol. On the palate is dry, with medium acidity, with smooth supple tannins, medium alcohol, medium+ body with good concentration on the mid palate and good flavor intensity. Med+ finish.
Very Good quality, Drink Now or hold 10+ years, Medium/High Price with good value for money. Merlot 78%, Cabernet Franc 17%, Cabernet Sauvignon 5%, Lalande de Pomerol, Bordeaux, France.
