Ridge Lytton Spring 2010 (4.7/5)

Notes: It appears deep black purple-blue oily viscosity. On the nose it's clean showing pronounced flavor intensity of black cherries, blackberries, blueberries, with a thick but very cool matrix. The complexity is enriched by incense and dried flowers notes, toast and spices too. On the palate is dry, with tremendous depth and mass of velvety tannins supporting the long finish. Balanced med+ acidity, med+/high alcohol, full body with modern style but undeniably elegant.
Outstanding quality, Drink Now or hold up to 10 years or more, Premium Price. Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane and Mataro. Sonoma County, California, USA.

I'm not exactly a Zin lover, but in front of this... Chapeau! ... (maybe because it's not 100% Zin? :-P )
