Ode' d'Aydie Madiran 2009 (3.8/5)
Courtesy of the Birthday Boy Jean-Louis Jerrer :-)
Notes: It appears deep purple, nearly black. Impenetrable. Good legs. On the nose it's clean with medium+ intensity of blackcurrants, cherries vanilla and toasted oak and leather (barrel notes still needs time to integrate and are a bit too evident). On the palate is dry, with med+ acidity, med+ alcohol, medium+ body with good concentration of flavors and good mid palate. Med+ finish.
Good quality, Drink Now or hold up to 10 years, High Price. Tannat, Madiran, France.
