Notes: Deep Garnet with purple rim and good viscosity. On the nose it's clean offering medium+ intensity of blackberries, brambles, pepper, chocolate, fresh bread/creamy yeast and vanilla notes, smoked bacon, cedar&leather developing. Amazingly layered and complex for the price tag! On the palate is dry, with balanced medium+ acidity, high but well masked alcohol (no hot sensations!), medium+ body with velvety/chocolately tannins, good -although not so concentrated- mid palate. Medium+ flavor intensity (recalling the nose). Medium+ finish.
Very Good quality, and amazing value for money. It does not have the concentation to age and evolves for decades but is a pleasure to drink right now or give it some years to mellow the tannins. Mid Price. Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz blend. Western Cape, South Africa.
