Notes: Deep ruby-purple with good legs. The nose offers a pronounced intensity of bright fruits that only (top) Chilean wines are able to delivered: sweet blackberries, brambles and respberries, currants leaves, liquorice. A bit too syrupy on the nose and this kills quite a bit the elegance, unfortunately.   On the palate is dry, with a deep core a fruit compote recalling the nose.  Medium acidity, medium smooth tannins, med+ alcohol, med+ body. Some more grip on the mid-palate would not have hurt.  Medium+ (bit hot) finish.
Good quality, Drink Now or in the next few years, Premium Price. Cabernet Sauvignon, Clos Quebrada de Macul, Maipo Valley, Chile.
