Domaine Zind Humbrecht Pinot Gris Clos Jebsal Vendange Tardive 2009 (4.4/5)
Notes: Medium to deep gold, on the nose offers medium+ notes of apricots, peaches, acacia honey, mature apples and quince, lichees and elderflower. Very fruit driven, but not tropical. The elegance is preserved by good mineral notes and chalkiness and the charm enriched by developing notes of tangerines and clementines probably due to some botrytis influence. On the palate is medium sweet and balanced by medium- acidity. Alcohol is medium-, and the body is medium+ very good concentration of fruits on the mid palate. Medium+ finish. Hedonist and delicious at the moment will improve complexity with time.
Very Good quality, Drink Now but will improve, High/Premium Price. Pinot Gris, Alsace, France.
